Palic
The "Ma" spatial concept is experienced gradually through intervals of spatial signs. "Ma" is the word for space and suggests an interval. It can best be described as an awareness of place, not in the sense of a closed three-dimensional whole, but rather as a simultaneous awareness of form and non/form that arises through the intensification of perception.
The linear concept of the urban setting is based on an imaginary axis that divides the space into two poles of different characters. Palicka Lake on its eastern shore generates intensity and diversity of use, while the western shore of Omladinski Lake is a place of relaxation and peace. The facilities are arranged along the axis in three basic zones and graded according to the degree of publicness so that the water park is located closest to the Park, the hotel occupies the central part, while the spa, which has a contemplative character, is located at the other end, partly in the existing forest. In each of these zones, branches extend transversely from the axis to the lake, so that restaurants, cafes, and other catering and spa facilities are located under the field and around the formed squares. This linear distribution of the surface area is supported by the promenade along Palicka Lake, as the main connecting element. The proposed concept represents a variety of open public spaces, different in character, which as such generate social and economic sustainability. The promenade is a coastal linear element intended for walking or cycling, which also connects all other public spaces. Parts of the newly created terrain, moved towards the lake, form green recreational areas, suitable for various activities. In the "cavities" created by cutting through it, squares of an urban character are formed, with paving, city-type greenery, and a view of the lake.
