About:

The beauty of the natural environment; the marginal position, shape, and terrain of the plot; the presence of the spirit of architectural heritage - but also the low level of quality of the surrounding built structure as well as the low level of urbanity of the place itself with the character of a weekend settlement make the existing context of the future hotel complex.

The basic concept of solving the given problem was generated by observing the given and existing influential factors, that is, analyzing the found context through the prism of the desired result. The desired result is finding an appropriate balance between the needs of the modern hotel industry and the needs and conditions of the location, but also the balance between the elements of architectural heritage and other factors that influence the optimization of construction and the quality of living in the space. In a simplified way, it can be said that they are the two elements used to create the functionality and ambiance of the space. These are the architectural structure and materialization. The linear broken assembly that spreads in a funnel-like manner toward the sea and the promenade was created through the interaction of inductive and deductive approaches. In the inductive approach, we started from the basic accommodation unit and achieved its optimal quality. The first place in quality assessment is the view of the sea. The relatively mild unevenness of the terrain and the impossibility of rational placement of terraced structures conditioned the organization of the tract system vertically placed in relation to the promenade so that all rooms were provided with a view. In the deductive approach, the starting point is the environment. To draw in the promenade and avoid the effect of hermeticity, the potentially rigid and massive system is broken into several linear single-track lamellas that are rotated and broken so that the rooms are provided with a view, but also open in a funnel-like manner towards the sea and the main pedestrian thoroughfare.
